Senior Project Manager - Construction Location : Greater Toronto Area (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight & Delivery
• Manage all aspects of multiple construction projects from conception to completion.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Lead meetings with clients, architects, designers, trades, and project staff.
• Review and approve scope documents, tender packages, pricing, and contract changes.
• Identify critical paths and develop strategies to keep projects on track.
• Ensure design specifications and shop drawings are reviewed and approved.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, trades, and site supervisors.
• Procurement & Tendering
• Oversee tender processes: assess bids, negotiate, award contracts, and manage changes.
• Liaise with designers, architects, and clients to review and approve changes with minimal schedule impact.
• Ensure accurate documentation, approvals, drawings, and permits are maintained.
• Support procurement of materials and equipment for project execution.
• Team Development & Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of project managers, coordinators, and site staff.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coach team members to meet performance objectives while fostering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management (residential/custom homes strongly preferred).
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• PMP/CAPM certification is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Proven success managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Experience supervising and developing teams.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, management, and trades.
• Keen eye for detail, scope tracking, and schedule management.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across the GTA.
