As the Business & Reporting Analyst, reporting to the Director, Finance Shared Services Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence through data-driven analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and project coordination. This includes enhancing reporting, automation, and process governance, while partnering with cross-functional teams across Finance, Operations, IT, and more.

A Day in the Life

  • Business Analysis & Documentation: Gather and document business requirements, create and maintain SOPs, workflows, and process maps, and translate needs into technical specifications.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports, perform reconciliations, analyze datasets, and build dashboards/visualizations in Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership Support: Communicate findings clearly, support leadership initiatives, collaborate with IT on automation, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Project Coordination & Initiative Support: Ensure compliance with controls, participate in process reengineering, and identify opportunities to improve reporting and governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field, or 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical background and experience in process documentation and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, and automation technologies (Power Automate, Alteryx) a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA a plus.

Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-focused, results-oriented, and resourceful problem solver.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $62,600 - $86,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
