What You’ll Be Doing:

• Consistently perform all duties in accordance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
• Carry out field maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauls on natural gas engines, compressors, and associated equipment at client sites throughout Alberta.
• Execute repairs and overhauls efficiently, meeting established timeframes and quality standards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and warranty repairs, maintaining thorough and accurate service records for all work performed.
• Collaborate closely with the Surepoint team to ensure repair strategies align with customer expectations and quotes.
• Provide mentorship to apprentices and lead safety initiatives, including conducting Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs).
• Travel to remote locations as needed, work in camps or hotels, and participate in after-hours emergency support when required.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Journeyperson certification in Heavy Duty Mechanic, Millwright, or Natural Gas Compression Technician.
• At least 5 years of field service experience, demonstrating advanced skills in troubleshooting and repairing natural gas equipment.
• Comprehensive understanding of engine, generator, and compressor operations and performance; familiarity with Arial, Waukesha, and Caterpillar equipment is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Current safety certifications— CSO, H2S Alive.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, safety, integrity, and mentoring others.
• Self-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
