Job Details Job Description: Join Altera's Embedded Solutions team and work on cutting-edge FPGA-SoC devices! As an intern in our Software Engineering department, you'll contribute to the implementation of FPGA designs and embedded software features for customer applications targeting our leading-edge FPGAs. This dynamic role provides a unique opportunity to work hands-on with hardware and software, including development kits, while gaining experience in digital design and programming.
You'll collaborate with diverse teams across Silicon design, CAD tools, applications engineering, and product planning, gaining insights into how holistic customer solutions are developed to meet market needs and deliver exceptional user experiences.
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills, who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop FPGA designs and embedded software features.
- Contribute to customer-facing solutions leveraging Altera's FPGA-SoC devices.
- Gain hands-on experience with physical development kits and embedded systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Qualifications Qualifications:
- Exposure to programming in C/C++, Python, or Java, with a preference for low-level C programming.
- Familiarity with digital design, ideally using Verilog.
- Relevant experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, or other hands-on learning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Altera FPGAs through coursework or projects.
- Knowledge of embedded systems development.
