Position Objective
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own and grow relationships with Durabuilt’s highest-value accounts. This role is less about prospecting and more about strategic account management, serving as a trusted advisor to client leadership teams. You will interact with all levels of the organization—from administrative staff to executive offices—ensuring win-win outcomes that drive mutual growth and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Leadership: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with top-tier builder accounts, architects, and designers.

  • Strategic Planning: Conduct joint business reviews, develop growth strategies, and align Durabuilt solutions with client objectives.

  • Consultative Selling: Deliver insights and recommendations that create measurable business value for clients.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Scheduling, Installation) to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.

  • Contract & Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations, prepare executive-level proposals, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

  • Performance Management: Achieve revenue growth targets, retention goals, and customer satisfaction metrics for strategic accounts.

  • Industry Engagement: Represent Durabuilt at trade shows, professional associations, and client events to strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in B2B account management or enterprise sales, preferably in construction, building, or development industries.
    • Proven success managing high-value accounts and influencing executive stakeholders.
    • Strong technical aptitude with windows, doors, and glazing products (asset).
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional business acumen and financial literacy.

    • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation.

    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).

    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based with frequent client meetings.

  • Flexible schedule with occasional weekend work.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
