Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dump Truck Drivers to join our team. We are looking for a Class 1 driver with a good driving record. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. The role is for local city deliveries not long haul. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. The Dump Truck Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including load weights and delivery confirmations.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, utilizing heavy equipment when required.
• Always ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid commercial driver's license.
• Clean drivers abstract an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
