JOB DESCRIPTION
Ekkinox is seeking a part-time Class 1 Shunter to work in our terminal in Pointe-Claire. The work is only on Saturdays.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Move 50 to 60 trailers per shift in the yard with a yard truck or tractor with a fifth-wheel hydraulic truck
- Perform inspections before and after each trip
- Ensure safe use of equipment
- Minimum 1+ years of verifiable Class 1 Shunting experience
- Valid Class 1 license preferred
- Clean Abstract
- Willing to work overtime occasionally
- Professional and safe attitude with excellent customer service
OFFER AND BENEFITS
- Pay rate of $27.62/hour
- Shift timings: 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Saturdays only)
- Pay by direct deposit
