About the role

Position Summary:

This replacement position is a supporting role assisting the TaylorMade Sr. Product Manager to execute the launch and maintenance of the strategic merchandising platform for TaylorMade Golf product lines in Canada (hardgoods, ball, and accessories). Assist the Sr. Product Manager to maximize sales, market share, and profitability of all Golf products under the TaylorMade brand; and support initiatives in relation to the product life cycle calendar for the Canadian line up of products. Liaise with the sales, planning, and marketing departments to deliver support and tools for our product lines.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Product Manager to develop the Range and Margin Plans, and delivering monthly sales and margin forecasts.
  • Lead Analysis of the Accessories line and submit SKU forecasts in a timely fashion to US Operations.
  • Proactively manage programs within iSFA and support Product Line Specialist in the execution and enrichment
  • Support inventory initiatives (transfers, enrichment, etc.) across B2B and eCommerce platforms.
  • Analyze account forecasts, product mixes, promotion performance to drive business efficiency
  • Assist the Product Manager to securing and tracking Key Account specific SMU options and development request
  • Collaborate with the marketing team in the development of seasonal product catalogues, sales tools, and retail executions.
  • Prepare and support sales and marketing presentations for key accounts and the golf sales force.
  • Serve as a merchandising lead for sales programs and market adjustments (e.g. demo/rental reconciliation, sales promotion details and reconciliation tracking).
  • Present internally and externally as required.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of competitive products and marketing activities to support market analysis of TaylorMade Golf product categories.
  • Complete monthly industry sell-in reporting to provide accurate sales and marketing analysis of product categories.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Education, Work Experience and Professional Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar related field.
  • A minimum of 5 year’s work experience.
  • Working knowledge of the golf industry.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Good business acumen.
  • Experience preparing budget and forecasting documents.
  • Ability to calculate key financial metrics such as margins, discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc.
  • Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Canadian Golf market, products, and competitors.
  • Understanding of the Canadian retail and consumer environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).and EBS applications (Oracle).
  • Ability to travel.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills with emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism an asset.
  • Sports enthusiast (golf capabilities an asset).

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily office environment.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
  • Travel to support events, customer, and HQ visits
