You as a Temporary Estimating Administrator:
- Support the Estimating team on a daily basis and support the Proposal Team when required during RFP pursuits.
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare all documents including letters, reports, memos, sub trade lists, presentations, and project profiles, including the handling of confidential information.
- Coordinate all project security requirements (insurance and bonding) for each bid submission.
- Review tender documents and bid deliverables to ensure they are complete with all the necessary attachments.
- Support the estimating team on closing day including the upload and submission of final bids.
- Monitor bid sites for new opportunities and ongoing communications including the timely distribution of RFIs and Addendums.
- Coordinate between Estimating and Operations teams upon award of projects
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, resource room schedules, various spreadsheets, book and coordinate meetings, and prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
Is this the right role for you?
- You have two to five years of administrative experience.
- Advanced computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- B2W experience an asset.
- You have the ability to quickly develop working relationships with a broad range of individuals, both internally and externally.
- You handle pressure in a sometimes fast paced working environment, specifically during bid closings.
This position is a 1 year temporary position.
