8+ years of Network Security Administration experience Experience with Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper) Cloud Security (GCP/AWS/Azure) VPN, NAT, Routing, Switching, VLANs Python, Shell Scripting, or Ansible Incident Management & L3 Support Network Security & Information Security Financial Services experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and support enterprise network security solutions and cloud firewalls. Lead onboarding and integration of network security platforms into existing infrastructure. Provide L3 operational support, incident troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, NAT, and network security policies. Implement monitoring and maintain operational runbooks and documentation. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders on security initiatives. Support change management, knowledge transfer, and operational best practices. Participate in on-call support when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8–10 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI Model, Routing, BGP, Switching). Experience with cloud environments and security automation using Python, Shell, or Ansible. Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Experience in the Financial Services industry is an asset.
