Salary:$56,000.00 - $60,000.00

Nature & Scope

**Join Our Team!**Oversee the customer service and family experience functions across YMCA BC’s licensed child care and day camp programs at 180+ locations, with 5,000+ licensed child care spaces, across the Lower Mainland, North and Interior regions, ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and operational excellence. Support the transformation and continuous improvement of child care systems and service workflows across the province, support modernization, standardization, unification, and enhanced family experiences. Champion cross-functional initiatives and projects that strengthen administrative efficiency, data integrity, and alignment with YMCA BC’s strategic priorities and growth objectives.

Major Responsibilities**-in this position, you will:**

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, consistent customer service across all YMCA BC child care and day camp programs (15,000+ children annually). Use regional and national YMCA surveys to assess family satisfaction, identify service gaps, Develop a comprehensive family complaint procedure and implement improvements aimed at enhancing the overall family experience
  • Lead the development and execution of system transformation initiatives that standardize and modernize administrative workflows across YMCA BC. Collaborate with cross functional teams to align technology solutions, improve automation, create training guides and support the organization’s long-term administrative goals.
  • Oversee the configuration and management of all licensed child care systems, including the build for new developments, fee changes, and the annual rollover processing, for 5,000+ children.
  • Design and implement clear, responsive, and family friendly communication protocols across the administrative team. Ensure communication tools, messaging templates, and response standards reflect YMCA BC values, promote transparency, and support timely issue resolution.
  • Develop and lead province-wide service delivery training for administrative staff, ensuring alignment with YMCA BC’s standards of excellence. Support professional development through coaching, mentorship, and ongoing learning opportunities to build team capacity and performance.
  • Collaborate on the creation and implementation of standardized administrative policies, procedures, and documentation practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency across all child care locations and day camp operations.
  • Analyze administrative operations and key performance indicators using system data and family feedback. Identify trends and areas for improvement and support teams in taking corrective actions to maintain service quality and operational integrity.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Child Care Operations, IT, and Human Resources to support aligned execution of administrative projects, data integration, and province-wide initiatives. Act as a key contributor to strategic planning and organizational growth efforts.

Qualification**-you bring:**

  • Post-Secondary degree in System Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading large scale system transformation initiatives and driving continuous improvement strategies
  • Proven communication and analytical skills, with a strong ability to navigate complex challenges, and make decisions that align with strategic goals
  • Experience in non-profit operations, or a related field
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging principles, ensuring an inclusive and respectful environment for both staff and the communities served
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
