The Principal Consultant specializing in Presales at Amdocs Studios plays a pivotal role in driving transformation for enterprise clients using the Amdocs Studios technology portfolio. This position is responsible for originating, developing, and closing high-impact transformation deals by leveraging modern technologies and innovations in Cloud, AI, data, and platform modernization. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong solution-selling skills, and the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable technology strategies.

What will your job look like?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and present high-impact, composable technology solutions that address diverse and complex client challenges across cloud, AI, data, and application modernization.
  • Lead technical discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with C-level, business, and technical stakeholders to align business objectives with technology outcomes.
  • Design and develop proof-of-concept environments, prototypes, and live demonstrations to showcase Amdocs Studios’ technical capabilities and value.
  • Author end-to-end architectural blueprints, solution designs, and technical documentation to support client decision-making and successful project delivery.
  • Scope, size, and define work packages for Studio-led engagements, ensuring alignment with client requirements, delivery capabilities, and best practices in modern engineering. Collaborate with business development and delivery teams to produce compelling proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and sales collateral, and contribute thought leadership through blogs and industry presentations.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Consultative Sales and Solution Architecture: Strong consultative skills with the ability to map business challenges to technical solutions
  • Technical Solution Selling: Proven track record in selling and solutioning complex engagements including: cloud platform and data solutions, application modernization and automation.
  • Transformation Expertise : Experience solutioning or delivering transformation programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Technical Domain Leadership: Significant Experience with Software Engineering (Data, Cloud, AI)
  • Excellent Communication: Superior written, verbal and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
