Inclusive Living Manager – Lead with Purpose

As the Inclusive Living Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team across our group living homes in Hamilton. You’ll make sure services run smoothly, staff feel supported, and residents experience safety, dignity, and belonging. Your leadership will directly shape the quality of life for people we support and the experience of the teams who care for them.

What You'll Do:
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple residential programs across Hamilton
- Supervise and mentor Inclusive Living Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals across multiple residential locations
- Oversee program quality, compliance, risk management and service delivery standards
- Develop and deliver educational content, staff training, and presentations that build skills and knowledge across the team
- Teach controlled acts using an education platform, practical testing, and ongoing evaluation
- Provide leadership in medication management practices, ensuring staff competency and compliance
- Oversee program budgets, fiscal accountability, and effective resource allocation
- Manage scheduling and workforce planning using HRIS tools (UKG or similar)
- Engage families, stakeholders, and community partners with professionalism and advocacy
- Lead teams through change with confidence, adaptability, and vision
What You Bring:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses Ontario (RN or RPN, in good standing) (required)
- 5+ years of management or supervisory experience. Strong preference for experience in the Developmental Services Sector or related health / social services sector
- Strong experience supporting individuals with medical complexities and responsive behaviours
- Proven ability to create and implement dynamic educational programs, presentations, and training content
- Experience with HRIS systems (UKG or similar), scheduling, and workforce management
- Skills in budget oversight, fiscal responsibility, and compliance management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and IT applications
- Knowledge of developmental services legislation, QAM, the Employment Standards Act, and collective agreements
- Previous management experience in a unionized environment (preferred)
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Proficiency in French or additional languages are considered an asset
- Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check (dated in the last six months)
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- 2 Step TB Test (or negative Chest xray) (dated in the last six months)
Additional Job Requirements:
This role requires flexibility as it relates to supporting our team and people supported. The Inclusive Living Manager participates in on-call responsibility on a rotational basis for weekends and weekday coverage (approximately 5 times per year). Regular travel across program sites in Hamilton is expected, including monthly unannounced site visits across all shifts.
Please note: this is a budgeted two-year contract, with the opportunity to convert to permanent full time employment. The successful candidate will be eligible to participate in our extended health benefits program and pension plans.
