About The Role:

As a Labourer in our Pressure Control group, you’ll work independently in the field collecting gas samples from station sites across the region. This role involves driving, data entry, and occasional interaction with customers – perfect for someone who enjoys routine, hands on work, with a focus on safety.

Labourers cover a range of responsibilities; your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Travel across the region to collect gas samples from various sites and customer locations.

  • Labelling and safely delivering gas samples to the lab for analysis.

  • Navigating and recording information using OFS and/or GIS mapping software.

  • Entering data accurately and maintaining sampling records.

  • Working safely in a variety of outdoor and industrial environments, including maneuvering lids at FTU’s (Farm Tap Units) and navigating sites.

  • Occasionally interacting with customers in a professional and respectful manner.

  • Perform other duties to support the Pressure Control Team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • Valid Alberta Class '5' Driver’s License with a clean driver abstract; may be required to obtain a higher class or certification as needed.

  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment testing, including background check and drug and alcohol screening.

  • Ability to work alone and manage a structured daily routine.

  • Physical ability to lift lids, handle small instruments, and move safely through station sites.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in labelling, record keeping, and data entry.

  • Basic computer skills and comfort working with digital maps or data entry systems.

  • Experience in a gas utility, oil & gas fieldwork, environmental sampling, or field labour roles is an asset.
