In case you’re curious, here’s what the industry thinks of us and some of the impacts we've made to the communities we work in. You As a 'Procurement Coordinator' Will

  • Implement elements of the Project Procurement Plan in accordance with approved corporate and/or project policies, procedures, plans, strategy, and budgets.
  • Interface with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, other Procurement Staff, Expeditors, Materials Controllers, and Logistics Coordinator.
  • Prepare and issue tenders.
  • Conduct job showings.
  • Direct the communication with bidders and suppliers or subcontractors on all procurement-related matters.
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of the necessary bid inquiry documents, bid tabulations and selection recommendations.
  • Chair bid review meetings with multiple stakeholders and bidders.
  • Contract negotiation and preparation, including issue and approval of contract documents, subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Coordination of expediting, logistics and traffic with respect to the delivery of supplier equipment and materials delivered to site.

Is this the right role for you?

  • 1-3 years of experience working in engineering and/or construction industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Able to follow and track processes.
  • Results oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, import regulations, competitive bidding, market conditions, general contract terms and conditions.
  • Must be able to obtain CISD Reliability Clearance
