About The Role As Junior Sous Chef of the Kitchen team at 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse - the only Relais and Chateaux properties in London - you are the reason our Guests keep coming back for more. Our Chefs work as part of a team to impress our Guests, creating unforgettable experiences and exceeding expectations from breakfast right through dinner, to ensure that every guest wants to return.

What will you be doing? You will be a natural teamplayer able to deal with the pressure of running in a busy operation in both 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse who enjoys sharing knowledge and passion about food.
Below are some of the duties and responsibilities of a Junior Sous Chef:
- To assist the Head Chef during service for timing and progress of all dishes, showing ownership and responsibility for the Kitchen operation in the absence of the HOD.
- To be passionate in assist with the training, induction and development of the kitchen brigade and be confident in ensuring that in the preparation and presentation of food, the highest standards are maintained at all times.
- To keep the Head Chef appraised of any problems within the Kitchen using your integrity. These would include staff, Health & Safety, equipment, and any other areas connected with the Kitchen organisation.
- To be confident in all policies and procedures relevant to Health and Safety and Food safety Standards ensuring the compliance of the latter at all times.
- You will be a teamworker, willing to assist your colleagues when required and working with the F&B team to ensure a smooth interdepartmental relationship is maintained at all times.
