Position Summary CityWest is seeking a Fleet & Warehouse Manager to lead fleet, asset, and warehouse operations across a fast-growing, multi-entity organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the Company's fleet, trailers, heavy equipment, tools, and inventory are managed efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. The successful candidate will maximize the value of existing fleet systems (Fleetio and Geotab), while implementing warehouse and inventory processes that provide complete visibility, accountability, and auditability across the organization.

Compensation: 80,000-90,000 Excellent pension and benefits plan

Key Responsibilities Fleet and Equipment Management Own and optimize Fleetio and Geotab usage and ensure complete and accurate fleet records and documentation. Manage the lifecycle of all fleet assets including vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, and mobile assets. Develop and maintain fleet policies, standards, and operating procedures. Develop fleet standards for asset allocation, inspections, utilization, and lifecycle management Implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability and minimize downtime. Ensure all licensing, registrations, inspections, CVIs, permits, and regulatory requirements remain current. Monitor fleet utilization and ensure assets are appropriately matched to operational requirements. Work with teams to coordinate repairs and maintenance scheduling Lead fleet procurement, disposals, rotations, and replacement planning. Monitor fleet operating costs and identify opportunities to improve utilization and reduce total cost of ownership. Manage insurance, insurance claims, accident reporting, and fleet-related investigations. Develop and monitor KPI dashboards for utilization, maintenance, fuel consumption, downtime, compliance, and asset performance. Warehouse & Inventory Management Design, implement, and continuously improve warehouse and inventory management systems. Establish a single source of truth for all materials, tools and inventory Develop standardized receiving, issuing, transfers, returns, and inventory adjustment processes. Develop and oversee inventory control processes (cycle counts, audit readiness, loss tracking) Implement barcode scanning and asset tracking technologies. Monitor inventory levels and optimize stocking strategies to balance service levels and carrying costs. Develop inventory reporting, analytics, and performance metrics. Ensure inventory is accurately allocated to projects, departments, and locations Process & Systems Leadership Standardize fleet and warehouse processes Eliminate manual tracking and spreadsheet dependency Integrate systems across fleet, procurement, and inventory workflows Partner with Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Health & Safety to improve business performance and operational efficiency Establish measurable performance indicators and reporting dashboards Identify process improvement opportunities and lead operational change initiatives

Qualifications Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in fleet, logistics, warehouse, and asset management Knowledge and experience managing diverse fleets, including vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment. Experience with Fleetio, Geotab, and inventory tracking systems Demonstrated ability to build processes, implement systems, improve operations, and lead organizational change. Proven ability to establish accountability and drive continuous improvement. Experience in telecommunications, utilities, construction, or infrastructure environments is considered an asset
