This is for 1- Permanent Part-time position- School Administrative Assistant/ Library Clerk CHIEF ZZEH GITTLIT SCHOOL (CZG) – Old Crow Chief Zzeh Gittlit School respectfully acknowledges that it is located within the traditional territory of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation. Chief Zzeh Gittlit School (CZGS) is located in the community of Old Crow, Yukon Territory. Old Crow is a remote, fly-in community in northern Yukon, 112 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. Approximately 245 people live in Old Crow. Gwich’in is the traditional language of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation people. Chief Zzeh Gittlit School is a K-12 school with approximately 40 students. CZGS is one of 11 Yukon schools that have joined the newly established First Nation School Board (FNSB) in the Yukon. We are actively seeking committed and qualified educators who are dedicated to living in and being an active member of the community and who can adapt well to a remote lifestyle. - Strong ability to build positive, respectful relationships with diverse clients, colleagues, and community members
- Experience in front line interaction such as providing a welcoming and courteous support to clients and visitors, maintaining professionalism
- Experienced in coordinating administrative workflows, ensuring accurate records management and proper handling of sensitive and confidential correspondence
- Experience in overseeing the phone systems and directing inquiries efficiently
- Manage financial administration tasks such as managing petty cash, processing purchases, overseeing trust accounts, reconciling Visa statements, and monitoring the approved budget.
- Experience at either an office or school setting, providing support for routine administrative and operational tasks is an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Additional Information Conditions of Employment:
- RCMP Security Clearance, Vulnerable Sector;
- Standard First Aid (willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire)
