We are looking for new talent to join our team as we support our clients’ and the energy industry with clean technology initiatives and greenhouse gas reduction programs, building template projects and relationships that will help shape the future of the natural gas, LNG, renewables, hydrogen and technology industries. We are currently seeking an “Financial Accountant” to support our dynamic team. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for variety of accounting tasks supporting the team. Your pride will be in staying focused and handle a lot of detailed information as well as a variety of tasks will be a vital part as you learn and grow within this diverse and interesting position.

Responsibilities

Full cycle accounting with emphasis on Accounts Payable Month End Financial Statement preparation Data entry and coding of invoices along with coordinating payments Purchase order preparation Prepare quarterly client reports Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts Fixed asset schedule and prepaid asset schedule maintenance Ability to prepare government filings (GST & PST) Balances intercompany accounts by reconciling entries Completing timely and accurate full-cycle bookkeeping services Maintains accurate records and control reports Demonstrates ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Maintains a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive documents Supporting other accounting functions for the team Ad hoc duties assigned by Manager / Controller as required Skills and Qualifications:

Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in Accounting / Finance Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or 1 year in the same position Experience in Replicon, QuickBooks Online would be an asset Experience working with clouded based database software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain the highest standard of confidentiality Strong computer skills and knowledge in relevant office software applications (such as Microsoft Excel using pivot tables, charts and graphs, lookup tables, formulas, and filtering) Ability to work both independently and as a team Self-motivated with the ability take initiative Excellent written and verbal communication skills Motivated with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure General:

We offer a 37.5-hour work week with Fridays being WFH and half days!

The salary for this role is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week. The estimated range is between $38.50- $42.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
