##Manufacturing Engineer
**Location:**Winnipeg, MB

**Reports To:**Engineering Manager

We are currently seeking aManufacturing Engineerto join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys problem‑solving, process improvement, and working closely with production teams.
###Key Responsibilities
- Assess manufacturability of new products in collaboration with Design Engineering and Customers
- Identify efficient production methods and provide accurate product costing
- Design and procure tooling, fixtures, and production aids using 3D CAD software (Solid Edge, SolidWorks)
- Provide technical support to Production related to quality, process, and tooling issues
- Lead product prototyping, design changes, and testing activities
- Develop production standards, workflows, and conduct time studies
- Optimize manufacturing systems, equipment utilization, and automation
- Collaborate with production leaders and support teams to improve fabrication, assembly, and supply chain processes
- Plan facility layouts to improve workflow and setup efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement and waste‑reduction initiatives
- Research, program, test, and operate advanced manufacturing equipment (CNC machines, robots/cobots, software)
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment
###Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering or related field)
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Experience with ERP and/or MRP systems
- Knowledge of DFM, PFMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma principles is an asset
- Experience with 2D drafting and 3D solid modelling (SolidWorks or similar)
- Understanding of BOMs, capacity planning, and manufacturing management processes
- Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10%)
- Self‑motivated with a strong drive for continuous improvement
