**Job Summary:**Under the direction of the Senior Purchaser or Corporate Procurement Manager, the Purchaser will beresponsible for the organization and coordination of purchasing activities on site. This will include, but notlimited to, requesting and comparing quotations, negotiation of contracts and issuing of Purchase Orders.The Purchaser will also be responsible for contacting suppliers, schedule and discuss deliveries andorganization of the storage facilities. Monthly maintenance and reporting of inventory will be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with key persons to establish specifications and expectations of the supplies requiredand in accordance with the project’s requirements

Tracking of open requisitions

Obtaining quotations for material, services and equipment

Preparation of price comparisons

Issuing of Purchase Orders

Maintenance of supplier database and purchasing software

Checking of packing slips to verify that orders are in accordance with the purchase order

Organize items within the designated storage facilities

Ensure that all deliveries are recorded accordingly

Maintenance of Inventory for reporting purposes

Keeping track of incoming & outgoing materials & parts.

Other related duties as assigned
