As the Digital Measurement Analyst, you will provide professional and strategic digital marketing measurement analysis to support marketing, communication planning and tactical development, primarily for calgary.ca. This includes creating digital measurement strategies, report design, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) development, dashboard creation and strategic analysis. Primary duties include:
- Provide analysis and interpretation of a variety of marketing and communication channels and measurement tools to the client and other identified parties.
- Manage the day-to-day measurement functions ensuring the end deliverables are delivered on time, in scope and within budget.
- Collaborate with other groups within The City including Web Development, UX, Marketing, Design and Production (Digital and Traditional), Research, Engage, Social Media, Internal Communications, Web Communications and Information Technology.
- Create and implement a PowerBI Dashboard.
- Represent Web, Research and Projects as the spokesperson for building and forging a culture around digital metrics and analytics measurement.
Qualifications
- A completed 2-year diploma in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field and at least 5 years of related experience.
- The successful applicant should have extensive experience in one or more of the following web analytic tools: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Web Trends, Voice of Customer Survey Tool and PowerBI.
- Interest or experience in mobile website and application measurement tools, e-mail marketing measurement tools, data aggregation/data warehouse, A/B testing/multivariate testing, social media measuring tools.
- Membership with digital industry associations such as the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), or with any usability, web analytic associations, such as the Web Analytics Association (WAA), will be considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires effective communication skills along with strong quantitative research, presentation and project management skills.

Workstyle
- This position may be eligible to work from home for at least part of the time as one of several flexible work options available to City employees. Such arrangements are based on the operational requirements of the position and employee suitability and are subject to change based on operational needs and corporate direction.
