Job Description :
Champlain College Saint-Lambert requires the services of an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AGENT CLASS I to work on a full-time special project in the Student Services department.
Reporting to the Director of Student Services and working in collaboration with the staff in Adaptive Services - Student Access Center (SAC), the incumbent will perform a set of administrative functions of a relatively complex nature according to established methods and procedures and clerical functions related to activities in student services. In addition, the incumbent will ensure a welcoming environment for students and other visitors to the SAC.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet visitors, schedule appointments, provide information about services offered by the Student Access Centre (SAC), and respond to general inquiries.

Confirm student requests to schedule exams in the SAC exam room via a web-based platform.

Communicate with faculty and staff to ensure schedules and deadlines are met, supporting the efficiency of services.

Print and prepare all exam materials and set up the exam room for students.

Draft a schedule of invigilators for approval by a SAC counsellor and collaborate with the counsellor to ensure the schedule is followed.

Complete requisitions and verify work schedules for semester staff hired to support Adaptive Services. Ensure proper documentation for the remuneration of tutors, note-takers, and invigilators assisting students requiring accommodations.

Book and organize mid-term and final exam rooms and spaces in collaboration with the Registrar’s Office.

Complete administrative tasks related to departmental projects and activities as required.

Participate in training sessions and professional development activities related to adaptive services and the student population served.
Requirements :
Education
Must possess a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) with an appropriate speciality or a secondary school diploma (DES) or have a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.
Experience
Must have at least one (1) year of pertinent experience..
Requirements
Must be able to communicate proficiently in English and French, both orally and in writing.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to work with a student clientele requiring continuous support
Required Tests : Candidates will be required to submit to language tests as well as Word and Excel tests.
Work Schedule : Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Overtime may be required during peak periods.
Duration of contract : Until June 1, 2026 with possibility of renewal
Salary Scale : 24.99$ - 27.95$
