About the role
We're Hiring: Engineering Technologist Chilliwack, BC | Full-Time
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with engineers and plant assemblers to manage design changes on the manufacturing line
- Build prototypes to spec and provide feedback to the design team
- Test and validate new designs against predetermined test plans
- Develop, optimize, and document new assembly processes
- Rapidly source and integrate product alternatives into the production line
What You Bring
- Possess strong hands-on skills with hand tools, mechanical assembly and electrical experience with 12VDC and 120VAC systems.
- Solar and Battery experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with tools (woodworking & electrical); CNC router experience is a plus
- Proficiency in CAD design tools (Onshape, SolidWorks)
- Experience with ERP systems, Business Central, and BOM management
- Strong knowledge of ASME Y14 engineering drawing standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a shop-floor setting
