Content & Communications Marketing Specialist

About the role

Purpose:

We are seeking a creative, ambitious self‑starter with a passion for communications, brand marketing, and graphic design. The Content & Communications Marketing Specialist supports a wide range of creative needs including posters and print collateral, internal communications, property-level signage, video content, and engaging media designed to help reduce vacancies and elevate the corporate brand. This role provides creative insight across the organization and plays a key part in shaping how our brand is expressed visually and verbally. The Specialist also cultivates strong working relationships with leasing and marketing teams to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services to third‑party clients.

Main Responsibilities:

Property-Level & Portfolio Marketing

  • Assist with producing monthly promotional graphics for property‑level advertising campaigns, ensuring materials effectively support leasing efforts and help reduce vacancies.
  • Develop seasonal event collateral, including posters, digital assets, and on‑site signage, to enhance engagement across our managed properties.
  • Generate and analyze impactful campaigns, engaging promotions, and targeted advertising to support leasing momentum.

Corporate Communications & Internal Support

  • Assist in the development of internal and external presentations, ensuring visual clarity, strong storytelling, and brand consistency for pitches, proposals, and leadership communications.
  • Support proposal writing and the creation of accompanying design materials to deliver polished, client‑ready submissions.
  • Produce corporate-level communications to maintain alignment across teams and properties.

Digital, Web & Video Content

  • Confidently navigate various website platforms to update content, enhance user experience, and maintain brand accuracy across digital touchpoints.
  • Apply working knowledge of SEO, GEO targeting, and SEM best practices to improve online visibility and strengthen overall digital performance.
  • Produce and edit video content, including property tours, promotional clips, event recaps, and social media reels, to enhance engagement and strengthen storytelling.
  • Contribute to the creative direction and execution of video content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

Lease-Up & New Development Projects

  • Support marketing efforts for lease‑up and new development projects by creating comprehensive brand packages, including visual identity, signage concepts, and launch collateral.
  • Collaborate with leasing and development teams to execute cohesive go‑to‑market strategies that elevate new assets and drive occupancy.

Brand Stewardship

  • Ensure brand identity remains consistent and cohesive across all projects, demonstrating strong attention to detail, creativity, and accountability.

Additional Duties

  • Participate in other marketing projects as required.

Qualifications:

Education**:**

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Marketing or related field

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in brand marketing, communications, or graphic design (agency or in‑house experience is a plus).
  • Residential and commercial property management or real estate experience, preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong time management abilities with the capacity to multi‑task and prioritize.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with marketing best practices on social media channels (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong creative problem‑solving, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
