Hot Mess Fitness Studio – Group Trainer (Small Group Personal Trainer)
Location: Walnut Grove, Langley
Type: Part-time
Pay: Employee: $33–$35/hour to start up to $42 with paid setup/cleanup , paid training + 4% vacation pay paid out each cheque
Start Time Flexibility Required: ability to work at least one 515am starts, as well as 1-2 afternoon shifts (4- 830) and currently looking for Saturdays mornings (4h shift)

What You’ll Do
You’ll lead 4-12 classes per week (with the opportunity for more) that feel like small group personal training with a big community feel. Your job? Help our members feel seen, safe and strong.
- Design and lead full-body strength-based classes using our template
- Offer smart modifications or porgressions for all levels, with a special focus on women in perimenopause and beyond
- Build relationships—know your people, celebrate their wins and meet them where they are
- Keep the studio clean and ready to go, tidy up after your class set
- Bring the energy, professionalism, and Hot Mess flair every single time
What You Bring
A great personality is essential - it's the one thing we can't teach! Other than that our in-house new trainer training program sets you up to learn the skills to teach small group personal training—and gives you skills that'll make you a standout coach anywhere you go. You'll need:
- Group Fitness or Personal Trainer Certification (required)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- A strong grasp of strength training fundamentals
- Great communication skills and a motivating presence
- Experience with (or interest in learning about) training women 40+
- Leadership, warmth, humour and flexibility—you know how to read the room and adjust accordingly
