🛠 HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC – SHIFT WORK IN CALGARY Shift Work in the City? Sounds too good to be true... Well, believe it! North Star Contracting is looking for qualified Journeyman Mechanics to join our team in Calgary’s civil construction industry. Work Schedules 12-hour shifts – 7 days on, 7 days off (No night shifts!) Flexible options available: 4x3 or 5x2 work weeks What We Offer Competitive pay: $43 – $56 per hour Comprehensive benefits (Dental, Extended Health, Vision, Life Insurance) RRSP matching On-site parking Overtime opportunities Stable work with a growing company What You’ll Do Maintain and repair off-road fleet (mainly John Deere, plus Komatsu & Caterpillar) Service on-road trucks (Kenworth, Peterbilt & trailers) Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues Perform preventative maintenance and CVIP inspections Requirements Valid Alberta Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic ticket (Red Seal preferred) 3+ years of experience with heavy equipment Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and 12/24V systems Valid Class 5 Driver’s License CSA-approved safety boots Ready to work on great equipment with a solid team?
