About the role
Your Opportunity: The Maintenance Worker III performs repair, maintenance, and installation duties serving the La Crete Community Health Centre and Continuing Care Centre in La Crete, Alberta. This role supports the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of health care facilities, ensuring a comfortable and functional environment for patients, staff, and visitors. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, Covenant Health currently has a Northern Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $6,300. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. Travel Expense Reimbursement: Permanent and temporary employees working in excess of one (1) year whose work sites are above the 57th parallel are also eligible to receive an annual reimbursement of personal travel expenses to an annual maximum of $1,235. Eligible employees will be reimbursed for the cost of one (1) round trip, per calendar year, to any destination within Alberta. Travel must originate from a community above the 57th parallel to any destination within Alberta and cannot be carried over. Please note: Classification under Review.
Description: Description: Under minimal supervision, the Maintenance Worker III performs highly skilled repair maintenance and installation duties on complex mechanical systems and equipment requiring the use of schematics, blueprints and specifications in accordance with accepted standards, regulations and procedures. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the AUPE General Support Services Collective Agreement.
