Summary of responsibilities:

The Regional IT Administrator, reporting to the Manager of IT Infrastructure Operations, represents CATSA at airports within their region supporting IT Operations including the installation, implementation, maintenance and support of all Information Technology. The Regional IT Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day support of regional operations. The Regional IT Administrator performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

What you need to succeed To qualify for the position, you must have:

  • Successful completion of a college diploma or university degree with specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology/Management, or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in management and deployment of IT infrastructure services.
  • Experience in a client service role.
  • Extensive experience supporting endpoints, server and networking hardware, infrastructure requirements and components.
  • Experience with the integration of new technology into an existing network.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft products.
  • Experience in analyzing system problems to carry out corrective actions.

Valuable skills include:

  • Knowledge of airport operations and the airline industry.
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation impacting CATSA.

Specific work requirements:

  • Ability to travel as required
  • Language Profile: BBBB;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; and
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
