The Project Coordinator is responsible for organizing and controlling various project activities while maintaining consideration for both cost and time with a reasonable level of autonomy. As an integral part of the construction team, the Project Coordinator quotes, organizes, and executes commercial and institutional projects of varying magnitude and complexity under time constraints.

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for
Supporting the project team regarding scheduling, planning, cost management, quality management, safety management, and contractual obligations. Prepares subcontracts and purchase orders for issuance. Prepares and manages the RFI processes. Prepares and manages the change order process. Compiles weekly and monthly progress reports. Compiles meeting minutes for distribution. Promotes a high level of H&S that represents Prodigy’s values and commitment. Maintains project documentation following company policies and procedures. Prepares all project start-up and close-out documentation. Monitors project activities to ensure the project is executed in accordance with the scope, budget, schedule, procedures, and standards established. Professionally interacts with design professionals, consultants, vendors, trades, and clients as required. Responds to client inquiries, concerns and ensures timely, qualitative service and follow-up. Supports various project-related activities, i.e., Shipping/receiving/pricing/shopping for project materials. Supports the Project in project risk management. Supports the Project in site quality control/ assurance (i.e., punch/ deficiency management).
About You
The successful candidate will have the following
Post-secondary education in project management or related field. Experience working in commercial construction is considered an asset. Skilled working ability in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Capable of using MS Teams, MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications, allowing superior support to the project in all areas. Perform periodic site visits as directed by the PM specific to activities within your knowledge area. Competent in written and verbal communication. Competent in time management and work prioritization. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and accountability. Demonstrates a willingness to adapt, improvise, and remain flexible in response to evolving circumstances. Willingness to learn and grow.

Approximate Annual Salary Range for this role: $50,000 - $90,000
Final compensation is determined based on experience, certifications, education/training, work location, and the size and the complexity of the projects assigned.
