Job Description and Responsibilities:
LotusFlare is seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Administrator to support our People Operations and employee experience initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in HR administration, onboarding, employee engagement, and office operations, with opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, works effectively with technology to improve HR processes, and contributes directly to the success of a diverse team.
Position Details:
- Part-time: 4 hours per day (flexible schedule, preferably 10 am to 2 pm)
- 3–5 days per week in the office (North York Centre Station, Toronto)
- Opportunity to transition to full-time with potential for professional growth
Job Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in HR, People Operations, Office Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Initiative, creative mindset, and ability to suggest improvements
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Zoho) is a plus
- Proficiency with technology and digital tools
Job Requirements:
- Support the onboarding experience for new hires, including first-day setup, equipment issuance, and early engagement check-ins
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, office socials, and team-building activities
- Maintain accurate HR records, including employee profiles, onboarding forms, and internal reporting
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of interviews and HR-related processes
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing questions and supporting HR initiatives
- Support office operations, including maintaining supplies, equipment, and organized workspaces
- Coordinate internal communications and employee participation in social or culture-related initiatives
- Contribute to process improvements and support the continuous enhancement of People Operations
Would be a plus:
- Previous experience in tech companies with start-up culture
- Previous experience in HR management and events planning
