About the role

There is currently an opening for an Information Technology – Technical Analyst. This person will be required to be in close communication with production staff, procurement, engineering and IT on a daily basis to help support the various systems used in the company.

Location: 160 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON

Dedicated Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

  • Design and execute communication solutions between various business systems.
  • Translate business requirements into integrated solutions
  • Support users at multiple locations
  • Review document changes and identify gaps in current systems and processes; recommend and implement effective solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
  • Work with staff in developing and programing integrations and automation
  • Monitor, measure and provide feedback on process performance

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude, good organizational and decision-making skills
  • Experience in ERP implementations
  • Education or equivalent experience in activities related to manufacturing, project management, production planning, logistics, or related industries
  • Able to manage competing demands, deal with frequent changes and effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Detail and customer service oriented
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Technical competency and ability to communicate both technical and non-technical material to a diverse audience
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Possess professional presentation skills
  • Power BI Proficiency:
  • Building dashboards, reports and data models
  • DAX - Writing formulas for calculated columns and measures
  • Power Query - Data transformation and cleaning
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management considered an asset
  • Development with the following technologies an asset:
  • SQL Queries
  • Web Services (AJAX, REST API, JSON, XML)
  • Programming in X++, C# or JavaScript
  • Microsoft middleware (SSIS, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate)
  • Experience in designing / implementing cloud solutions for manufacturing / logistics industry
