Job Title:BackEnd (SKO and Pre-boarding) Team Lead Department: Talent Acquisition
Reports to: Associate Director, Talent Acquisition
Location: Virtual
Status: Full Time Exempt
Job Summary
The SKO Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful execution and management of the System Kick-Off (SKO) process for new hires. The SKO Team Lead ensures a seamless pre-onboarding experience by leading the SKO team, coordinating with IT, and ensuring that all new hires receive the necessary equipment and system setup. The SKO Team Lead will work closely with IT, Training, HR, and other departments to maintain a smooth onboarding experience. Additionally, the SKO Team Lead will ensure that all metrics are met, including Show to SKO, Fill Rate , Cleared SKO, and SKO to Day 1.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead the SKO Team: Supervise and guide the SKO team to ensure they follow the established processes, ensuring that all new hires have the equipment, tools, and resources necessary to begin their roles.
-Supervise SKO Sessions: Ensure the SKO team plans, organizes, and schedules SKO sessions. Work with IT to ensure that all necessary equipment (hardware, peripherals, credentials, etc.) is ready for new hires.
-Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of SKO specialists, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
-Onboarding Support: Act as the main point of contact for new hires during the SKO process, answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the timely setup of IT systems and equipment.
-Ensure Metrics are Met: Ensure that the SKO team meets key metrics, including: Show to SKO, Cleared SKO, SKO to Day 1 and Fill Rate
-Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with IT, Training, HR, and other departments to ensure proper integration of systems, tools, and equipment for new hires.
-Reporting and Documentation: Track and monitor SKO metrics such as attendance, equipment distribution, and technical issues. Prepare regular reports for management to track progress and highlight areas for improvement.
-Team Development: Foster a positive work environment by coaching and developing the SKO team, enhancing their skills, and promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
-Other Tasks as Required: Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned to support the success of the SKO process and the broader goals of the Talent Acquisition team.
Qualifications
-Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
-Experience:
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, IT support, or operations role; experience leading or supervising teams is preferred.

Experience with onboarding or IT-related systems is highly desirable.

Prior experience with new hire onboarding and technology setups is a plus.
Skills:

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Technical proficiency with common IT systems, software, and tools used in onboarding.
