Terrace Lodge is a 100-bed long-term care home in the Township of Malahide. Our home is situated in beautiful Elgin County and features private and semi-private accommodation with 24-hour nursing care. Outdoor areas to relax with family, as well as living and dining areas, are available for resident enjoyment. A host of entertainment and recreational programs, animal-assisted therapy, spiritual care, and exercise programming are available.
Position Title: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
Type: Permanent, Part-time
Compensation: $35.95 – $36.35/hour plus $1/hour wage adjustment effective October 18, 2024 as per collective agreement

About the Role:
As a member of the nursing team, and in consultation with the Registered Nurse, you are involved in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. You will use your clinical skills to ensure that every resident receives the care they need and deserve delivered with quality, compassion, and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Must have current Registered Practical Nurses registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Registered Practical Nurse education.
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR Level HCP.
- Provides evidence of Pharmacology and Aseptic technique preparation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with:
- Health & Safety Procedures
- Resident Bill of Rights
- Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021
- Point Click Care
- Demonstrates a commitment to the delivery of safe, efficient care to the personal needs of residents.
