About the Role
Levitt-Safety is looking for a highly organized, customer-focused Bilingual Federal Government Account Manager to support and grow our Federal Government business within the National Capital Region (NCR).
In this hybrid inside sales and account management role, you’ll manage federal customer relationships, coordinate bids and standing offers, and support compliant, solution-based sales initiatives across a broad range of safety products and services.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone based in Ottawa who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and brings experience working with Canadian Federal Government procurement processes.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and support a portfolio of Federal Government accounts within the NCR
- Act as a primary point of contact for federal customers regarding quotations, standing offers, orders, and procurement-related inquiries
- Identify and coordinate federal bid and tender opportunities through PWGSC and related procurement portals
- Prepare accurate, compliant quotations and proposals aligned with contract requirements and pricing structures
- Coordinate bid submissions, documentation, and internal approvals to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, pipeline activity, and reporting within Salesforce CRM
- Support solution-based selling across PPE, gas detection, instrumentation, and other industrial safety solutions
- Collaborate closely with field sales, pricing, operations, product management, and service teams to support customer success
- Participate in customer meetings, sales huddles, and internal business reviews
- Contribute with a Think Team First mindset
What You Bring
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written)
- 3–5+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or federal sales support
- Experience working with Canadian Federal Government procurement processes, including standing offers, supply arrangements, NMSO, and PWGSC bid portals
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Nice to Have
- Experience in safety, PPE, industrial products, gas detection, or instrumentation
- Exposure to contract pricing structures, margin considerations, and pricing approvals
- Familiarity with federal compliance documentation and audit requirements
