As a Business Development Representative, you'll be on the front lines of our growth, connecting with potential clients and generating qualified leads for our Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-potential prospects in the GTA and other regions
- Reach out to potential clients via email, phone, LinkedIn, and events
- Educate prospects on MicroHabitat's mission and programs
- Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings for Account Executives
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to improve outreach strategies
- Maintain detailed records in our CRM (HubSpot)
What We're Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and resilient with a results-driven mindset
- Enthusiastic about sustainability and urban agriculture
- Experience in customer service or sales is an asset
- Comfortable with cold outreach and objection handling
Compensation
- 100% commission-based
- $250 per qualified lead (when a meeting is booked and accepted by sales)
- 1.5% commission on deals that close from your outreach
- High-earning potential based on performance
