Key Responsibilities

Field Operations & Training

  • Execute brand standard operating procedures and apply functional knowledge of the Burger King Operations Manual.
  • Identify and implement best practices to improve guest satisfaction and franchisee profitability.
  • Champion training initiatives, including classroom and digital platforms, within the APAC region.
  • Collaborate with franchisees, vendors, and internal partners to align business goals and operational improvements.

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the quality and safety of food, beverage, and bakery products for multiple RBI brands in North America.
  • Monitor supplier performance through audits, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Certify supplier facilities and endorse new products to ensure compliance with RBI standards.
  • Manage risk assessments for new suppliers and lead crisis investigations for supply chain disruptions.

Digital Operations & Technology QA

  • Ensure the successful adoption and optimization of consumer-facing digital technologies (mobile apps, kiosks, loyalty modules, etc.).
  • Create and execute detailed test plans for digital menu boards, POS systems, and third-party delivery platforms.
  • Develop automation frameworks and conduct API, database, and performance testing to validate system functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and QA teams to address technical issues and deliver innovative digital solutions.

Leadership & Reporting

  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members in operations and quality assurance.
  • Present regular updates to senior management, highlighting risks, project statuses, and strategic opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to influence decisions and enhance operational performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Sciences or related field
  • 4 to 6 years of progressive work experience in related area, preferably in a large restaurant or hospitality chain
  • Foundation in and knowledge of food science and food safety principles, included but not limited to food risk assessments (including Potentially Hazardous Food (also known as TCS foods) assessments), food safety standards (governed by health authority) of food businesses, proper sanitation and basic aspects of food technology, sensory and packaging;
  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification
  • Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Experienced in creative and innovative root cause analysis and problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse audiences and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a global team
  • Flexible, self-starter, resourceful and meticulous.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in consumer technology, restaurant technology systems, or large-scale quality assurance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with bakery production, supply chain operations, and HACCP principles.
