About the role
At Securiguard, we are currently accepting resumes/application from upcoming/seasoned CCTV Security Operators towards our retail video unit, for a Corporate Headquarters in Downtown, Toronto.
As a CCTV operator, will be assigned/responsible for responding to high number of calls/emails, archiving video footage, collaborating with field SupervisorClient's Coordinators, gathering reports/evidence to assist retail investigations, while maintaining chain of command and efficiency within our unit.
Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
Minimum of 1-year of experience as a Security Guard OR
Police foundations, Criminal Justice Studies (etc) backgrounds preferred
Intermediate/Advance Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to learn or possess knowledge in various systems including but not limited to fire and life safety systems, CCTV, Access control systems, Intercom systems
Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CCTV monitoring experience in a control room setting is considered an asset
Experience with access card programming is considered an asset
Experience with alarm monitoring is considered an asset
Experience in responding to emergency situations considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to assist/prepare detailed incident reports
Ability to handle stressful situations and high volumes of calls
Must be reliable, of sound character and a team-player
Opportunity Perks:
Pay Rate: $19 (potential pay progression based on experience or performance)
Working in a Corporate Headquarters environment (Business Casual Attire)
Fundamental Security Training Through Securiguard University Portals
Extensive onsite position training

Schedule:
Mon to Fri: 8 am to 4:30 pm, then Tues to Sat: 8 am to 4:30 pm (3rd/4th week of each month)
