Are you detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and passionate about keeping operations running smoothly? The Role The Inventory Control Clerk will monitor and control inventory stock levels, conduct physical counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate records in our ERP system. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, process returns and maintain safety standards at all times. Key Duties include:
- Receive inventory stock and process outbound shipments as needed
- Record all inventory movements in the ERP system
- Conduct cycle counts and compare physical stock to system records
- Investigate and report discrepancies in a timely manner
- Process product returns as per established procedures
- Support a safe and efficient warehouse environment
- Complete and maintain WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods training and all other safety training related to this position
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year related experience in inventory control, warehouse, and parts management
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management is considered an asset but not required
- Computer proficient, experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word), and shipping software
- Experience with ERP systems, working knowledge of Ormandy is an asset
- Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and with internal and external stakeholders
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to problem solve
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Must have positive energy- celebrate success, be enthusiastic and choose a can-do attitude (#SuperHighFive)
