We are currently seeking a Part-Time to Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to work in a Customer Service Representative (CSR) role at our busy and growing practice.
This position is ideal for an experienced Veterinary Assistant who enjoys client interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the unique needs of a veterinary hospital. While the primary focus of this role is customer service and reception duties, a strong veterinary background is essential.
Responsibilities
Welcome clients and patients in a friendly, professional manner
Answer phones and respond to client inquiries Schedule appointments and manage appointment flow Process payments and maintain accurate patient records Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clients Support the veterinary team with patient care and administrative tasks as needed Maintain a positive and organized reception area Deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating compassion for both pets and their owners
Qualifications
Required
Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital
Veterinary Assistant experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Professional, compassionate, and positive attitude Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
