Position Summary

The FSQA technican is responsible for monitoring the plant receiving, processing, packaging, and storage programs to ensure Food Safety, and HACCP compliance according to BRCGS and HACCP Program. The FSQA Technician follows all requirements for Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) to ensure the manufacture of safe, wholesome chicken products.

Key Responsibilities

Performing Pre-op, Post op inspection and monitoring GMP’s during production. ATP, Allergen and Environmental swabbing as per the defined frequency. Completing follow ups with sanitation on any failed swab results. Completing SSOP manual review annually and update SSOP’s as and when required and complete on sites for the SSOP’s. Coordinating with multi-functional team to ensure non-dailies are completed as per the defined frequency. Attending sanitation meetings and informing any concerns related to the sanitation program. Training and updating employees in any relevant procedures. Performing verification of scales, thermometers and verify production records, calibration records and QA records. Conducting oil free fatty acid checks and performing organoleptic testing. Performing quality checks on the finished products. Updating the Pre-op matrix when required. Performing other duties as assigned by FSQA Manager

Skills And Qualifications

2-3 year of direct Quality Assurance experience. Able to interpret, develop and manage HACCP plans. Demonstrates knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, HACCP, and proper employee hygiene practices to ensure food safety Thorough understanding of GMP’s and the ability to communicate and train Working with minimal supervision Experience with basic Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel) Working in cold / cool / warm / hot environments.
