Contract: 3 months, chance to extend
Setup: 2-3 days/week in office, in North York, ON
Start date: ASAP (cannot accommodate 2 weeks notice)
Key Responsibilities Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with business objectives. Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and operational decision-making. Analyze financial performance, identify key business drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Partner cross-functionally with department leaders to understand business needs, evaluate investments, and support financial decision-making. Support long-range planning initiatives and assist in evaluating business opportunities, risks, and operational efficiencies. Ensure consistency between financial planning activities and accounting records through a strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Required Qualifications 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience with a demonstrated track record of building and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create dynamic financial models. Strong accounting background with a thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
