About the role

The expected base salary range for this position is $95/Hr - $100/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity. The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements. Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager with a strong background in Commercial Banking to lead and deliver strategic, cross-functional business initiatives. This is a business-focused project management role requiring an individual who can navigate complex stakeholder environments across Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, and cross-border (Canada & US) operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience delivering business transformation initiatives within large financial institutions and possesses strong project governance, stakeholder management, and business delivery expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end business project delivery with a focus on achieving strategic business outcomes. Partner with stakeholders across Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, Finance, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Tax, and Operations. Manage cross-border initiatives involving Canadian and U.S. business teams. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, governance, and executive reporting. Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Facilitate communication with senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Coordinate with third-party vendors and external partners where applicable. Maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, RAID logs, and action items. Ensure projects align with organizational governance standards and strategic objectives. Capture lessons learned and drive continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Business Project Management experience within major banks or financial institutions. Proven experience leading business (non-IT) projects from initiation through delivery. Strong Commercial Banking experience is required. Experience supporting Capital Markets initiatives is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams. Experience working with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Tax, and Operations partners. Experience managing third-party vendors and external suppliers. Experience delivering cross-border projects involving Canada and the U.S. Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification. Experience using MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills. Experience supporting business transformation or strategic change initiatives within Commercial Banking.
