Job Title: Video Audio Streaming Recording Assistant

Wage: $16.00 per hour
Hours of Work: Approximately 10-12 hours per week
Start Date: September 3, 2025
Number of Positions Available: 2
Length of Appointment: May 15, 2026

Various Duties:
– Assisting faculty with streamed/ recorded /performances, masterclasses, outreach and recruiting activities, pre-recorded
– Assisting faculty with in incorporate technology into their course delivery as required.
– Assisting ensemble directors with production of University ensemble recording projects.
– Assisting students with streamed/ recorded performances for credit recitals and auditions (may be limited to auditions for
graduate schools and recognized competitions/ festivals (allowable activity will depend on public health and university
guidelines).
– Assisting with piano moves as required.
– Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
– School of Music Student or graduate.
– Must have significant prior experience working in audio/ visual in both live and studio settings.
– Must have working knowledge of music in a variety of genres musical terms, musical practices, and a working knowledge
of sound (how to choose microphones, place microphones, mix sounds, and achieve high quality results in postproduction).
– Must have working knowledge of standard DAW (digital audio workstation) software (including Ableton Live and Logic Pro X.)
– Working knowledge of video editing and streaming software (including Final Cut Pro, Castr, and ECamm)
