You will be accountable for developing and managing the execution of Moneris' external communications program.
Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship : You will report to Director, Externa Communications.
Posting Type: Replacement.
Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $82,941 - $112,563.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
- Supporting Director with ideation, planning and development of strategic corporate external communications programs.
- Planning, implementing and measuring communications programs that support corporate communications including but not limited to:, issues management, business continuity management, brand and corporate reputation and awareness.
- Support communication of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives to external audiences, showcasing the company's commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.
- Developing and supporting media and public relations communications in data releases, media inquiries, executive responses, and many other public-facing communications, ensuring alignment with brand voice and objectives.
- Overseeing the external-facing Media Room.
- Prioritizing, reviewing, editing and providing counsel on communications drafted by internal and external stakeholders and making recommendations to ensure messaging is consistent with corporate strategy and voice.
- Planning, execution and support for executive communications including Town Hall, executive newsletters, and other content; work with executives to identify speaking opportunities, manage thought leadership initiatives, and enhance their visibility as industry experts.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
- Post-graduate degree or certificate in public relations, communications, journalism or related.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
- 5+ years of experience in a corporate communications role; corporate communications, public relations and internal communications experience; management of external agencies and vendors; experience managing teams.
- Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset.
- Familiarity with media tracking software considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite considered an asset.
