Our client is a well-established manufacturing company located on Montreal’s South Shore, operating a state-of-the-art, highly automated production facility serving the North American market. Supported by experienced industry leaders, the organization is strengthening its management team to support its long-term objectives.

To support its operations, the company is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its management team and play a key role in operational excellence and capacity optimization.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Factory Director, you will take on a supervisory role within a production environment, contributing to operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

You will receive a structured training program and ongoing support to develop the necessary experience in the field, as well as to strengthen your leadership and team management skills. Following an initial training period, you will progressively take on full supervisory responsibilities.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Ensure production output and quality standards are consistently achieved.

  • Supervise, engage, and support the production team on the floor to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

  • Drive improvements in production processes to enhance productivity, safety, and overall operational performance.

  • Contribute to cost control initiatives by identifying and proposing practical, innovative solutions.

  • Monitor and address health and safety risks by implementing appropriate preventive and corrective actions.

  • Train, assess, and support employees in their ongoing development and performance.

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and help build a motivated, high-performing team.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

  • High School Diploma required; a College Diploma in a related field is considered an asset.

  • 5–10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment on production lines.

  • Previous experience as a team leader or supervisor is an asset.

  • Strong natural leadership skills with a collaborative, communicative, and solution-oriented approach.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer tools.

  • Solid understanding of health & safety standards, quality requirements, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, autonomy, and initiative.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts (day, evening, night, weekends), with initial training on day shifts followed by a transition to weekend night shifts.
