Tax Associate, Tax Preparation Services - 2 Month Contract How does the role impact the organization? We are currently seeking seasonal Tax Associates to provide support during periods of high volume for a duration of 1-2 months in the month of March and April. This role is primarily responsible for the preparation of Personal (T1) and or Trust(T3) tax returns of Raymond James clients.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Preparation of personal tax returns for Raymond James investment clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Gathering information from client, CRA online portal and internal reports
- Preparation of electronic working paper files of all tax documentation used to support the tax return for senior level review, prior to filing
- Corresponding with clients or Financial Advisors/Agents to identify and obtain missing information
- Handling and responding to email enquiries related to tax returns
What do we expect from you? To qualify for this opportunity you possess:
- Working towards or completion of a post-secondary degree
- Recent experience in Canadian tax preparation of Personal (T1) returns and experience in preparing Trust(T3) returns will be an asset
- Experience with CCH TaxPrep, CRA Represent a Client, MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail;
- Demonstrate email, videoconferencing, and telephone etiquette and relationship management skills;
