Billing Coordinator, Finance - Mississauga, On

Job Information: This position in our Finance Department and will assist with invoicing our clients with a focus on media billing. This individual will be processing, on a daily basis, invoices for incoming sales contracts and production contracts.

What you’ll do…

  • Work as a Finance team member to support the billing function
  • Monitor and manage shared billing team inbox
  • Generate invoices for clients based on contracts and contract revisions when needed
  • Liaise with multiple internal departments including Sales and Charting to resolve issues
  • Back-up for other billing coordinators when required
  • Research and resolve billing inquiries or disputes
  • Assist with audits, special projects and other duties as assigned.

Who you are…

  • College certificate or diploma - Business related (Finance, Accounting)
  • Familiarity with billing software and systems
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Proven experience as billing clerk or general accounting experience is an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional attention to detail

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong working knowledge of PC based applications including Outlook, Work and Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookup)
