Position Status: Temporary Full Time Term Ends October 31, 2026 Location: Rouleau Manor, Physiotherapy Complex LTC BW Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0900-1715 Union: Non Union GSS Rate of Pay: 25.46 - 30.13 PCN: RMTAsst01 Date Competition Closes: July 20, 2026 The Opportunity Position Summary: Responsible for working under the direction of the team Physical and/or Occupational Therapists to provide therapeutic programming to clients focused on helping them to achieve their discharge goals. This position works as part of the therapy team to contribute to the client's quality of life by providing appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence. Responsible for other related duties as required. Program Summary: Complex Mental Health Care – a program providing comprehensive care for adults with complex behaviours, whose primary diagnosis includes mental illness, dementia or other cognitive disorders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program.
- Relevant equivalent training or experience may be considered.
- Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential.
- Experience with computers preferred. \n
