About the role
Barrie Fordis seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician for a full-time permanent position as soon as possible.
The duties of the Automotive Service Technician include:
Road testing motor vehicles
Testing automotive systems and components
Adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems
Estimating parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
Performing scheduled maintenance service
Estimating repair costs
You must have:
At least 2 years of experience with specializationin the following:

Diesel engines
-
Standard transmission
-
Automatic transmission
-
Engine repair
-
Electrical and electronic system
-
Diagnostics
-
Brake system
-
Fuel and emission system
An Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
English language proficiency
Tools
Steel-toed safety boots
We offer:
A salary of 97,790 to 145,000 (piece work / flat rate) annually (To be negotiated) based on 40 to 44 hours per week.

The position is located at 55 Mapleview Drive West, Barrie, Ontario, L4N 9H7. No option to work remotely.
